Jennifer and Kieran had a great day walking around the grounds at the Hagley Museum. We never know what to expect when you get new people in front the camera, but they had me laughing the whole time. We had a lot of fun stick/sword figthing, climbing on the train tracks and exploring the grounds. I can’t wait for their backyard wedding in July!
We had a great time with Jeff & Pat at the Tyler Arboretum for their engagement session. Jeff loves the arboretum and when he suggested it as a place to shoot their engagement session, I jumped at the opportunity. We did manage one of the warmer days this winter, and even though there was a lot of snow on the ground, they were troopers and had a great time.
When Megan and Mike asked about an engagement session at their grandparent’s house by the bay I was in! It was a beautiful drive on old roads through farm fields and ended on the banks of the Sassafras River. We were able to take a walk along the river, through the farm fields and even a boat ride across the river to watch the sunset.
I had such a great time while shooting Heather and Mike’s engagement session last Saturday. We met at Ridley Creek State Park and walked around near the creek and hiking paths to start off. They didn’t set their expectations as models very high, mostly because they would be laughing and goofing off most of the time. While that was true, we did make a lot of great photos. It was great being outside on a nice day with a couple who was willing to go crawling across logs, stand in freezing cold streams, and lay in the tall grass. I can’t wait for their wedding in July!
It was a pleasure meeting Carole and Pat in Old City Philadelphia, PA for their engagement session. They had just recently gotten engaged and very both still very excited about it! We had a great time walking around taking in all the sites and making some fun photos under the overcast sky on a warm late fall afternoon.
This is going to be a long one! Lindsay and Mike were ambitious with their engagement photos. I’m always up for anything, and I love walking around just kind of finding stuff as we go along. They were up for this and more! “Can we go stand in the tall grass? Can we climb up this hill? Oh, the covered bridge is a quarter mile down this sketchy road? Sure we’ll go.” And after about 10 seconds of being photographed they were completely relaxed. They were up for just about everything and had a blast climbing around Valley Forge National Park, walking around (Lindsay in high heels no less!)the Art Museum, Love Park and City Hall.
Sarah and I met over ten years ago in college and have been friends since. She agreed to shoot my engagement photos and when she got engaged I’d shoot hers. I knew the day wouldn’t be long until I would be returning the favor when she met Armen. We had an awesome time walking around Old City and the water front on a beautiful sunny fall day. Thanks again guys! Can’t wait ’til the wedding!
